Freezing Cold France 12th Nov

Date: Thursday 12th November, 2009 | Country: France | 3 Comments »

Driving through the west coast of France, stopping through Dunkirk and then Le Havre were hard work, the campsites were empty and we realised very quickly why that was, the weather was cold and windy and not easy to get a few hours sleep in our tents, but it gave me a good indication of how to setup tents, food etc at night and pack stuff away in the morning.  Having drove many motorways, we took a scenic route through to the Loire Valley which was a lovely drive, but wanted some warmth that the parts of France we were driving through just wasn’t there so onto to Sans Sebastian!
